Welcome
Dr. Robert Milich, Ph.D.—“Dr. Bob” to his patients—has a group practice in Croton-on-Hudson, NY that provides psychotherapy for children and adolescents as well as consultations with parents who want help in addressing and successfully navigating the challenges that parenting presents. In addition, Dr. Bob specializes in leading groups—“Social Skills Friendship Groups”—for children and adolescents who have a variety of social challenges owing to ADHD, ASD, and/or other emotional or developmental issues which interfere with their ability to successfully make and/or keep friendships.
Over the many years that Dr. Bob has led groups, he has successfully innovated a number of techniques and interventions which have helped group members develop more pro-social skills, promote the appropriate expression of feelings, and improve their self-esteem.
Dr. Bob has also co-authored The Search for Oneness, written articles on parenting and play therapy techniques, and presented his work to EGPA, APA, and AGPA, informing other therapists about his work with groups. Dr. Bob feels extremely privileged to work with kids, adolescents, and their parents.
